We recently enjoyed a city trip to this lovely, family-run guest house situated in a serene area. The highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast, which included excellent made-to-order scrambled eggs, and a peaceful little garden by a stream. The location was perfect for hiking, with well-indicated trails of varying lengths. We loved the helpful and friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
The lack of air conditioning in our top-floor room, which made it rather hot and uncomfortable during the day. The window blinds didn't provide enough shade, letting in light as early as 4 am. Additionally, while the rooms were clean and well-furnished, the external surroundings could use some sprucing up, and the stairs and common areas needed new floor coverings.

Nestled in the heart of Black Forest, the location is ideal for nature lovers seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. the rooms are well-maintained with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. the restaurant is popular with locals and offers delicious food at reasonable prices.
The stairs could use a renovation as the old floor coverings might make some guests feel uneasy while climbing up and down.

The countryside surrounding the hotel was beautiful, perfect for a relaxing Easter weekend getaway. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering a delicious breakfast and comfortable rooms with clean bedding.
The noise level was unbearable. The thin walls meant that we were woken up at all hours of the night by the sound of other guests talking and moving around.
